Step 2: Assess the client’s case, the applicable clinical practice guideline (CPG), and the prescription writing activity for that client within the lesson.

She has a history of primary hypothyroidism diagnosed five years ago and struggles with medication adherence, as she sometimes forgets to take her levothyroxine on an empty stomach.
